2026 In The West – Day 15 – Desert Relaxation

I decided to recover from the side trip of going to Yuma to get the tire replaced and get ready to see Natasha in Phoenix. I headed to Tonopah to take a dip in hot spring water. The place is humorous with its hippie feel. No pics of the inside. (Eldorado Hot Springs) The warm water felt great. Afterwards I headed to my campsite and found the area south of Tonopah is a huge power generation area with Nuclear, gas generation and huge solar panel farms. I did not take pictures of that because it is boring for many. I am probably wrong when I thought I saw anti aircraft installation in the area. But I could see having it in the area. It took quite a while to get to the camp site. It was just me in that BLM desert land. Quiet except for Phoenix air traffic. No cell phone. Just great. Actually slept well. Stars were bright. Since I will be visiting Natasha Days 16, 17 and 18 may be combined.
