I did a 5 mile total with 600 ft elevation to/back hike to a bat cave. Batman was not there. And neither were the Brazilian bats that migrate here and they really don’t get here until June. Interesting drive through the San Luis Valley. Later I did a 3 mile up and down hike to “warm” springs. I wonder how I am going to feel tomorrow.
The San Luis Valley is supposedly Colorado ‘s largest potato producer.
I also stop in Buena Vista Colorado. It is really dry in Colorado. The mountain tops are not very covered for this time of year.
