I had to get my “feet” in the sand at the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. It is pretty wild to see them and finding out they are the tallest in North America. Also note that green is right next to it. Drove through canyon country. Was looking to get into the Grand Mesa through an entrance to the south but the gate would not let me.
With the entrance being closed I stayed at the entrance. The temp dropped to 28 and inside the car was 41. The blankets were nice and snuggly and reminded me of the farm as a kid when the house was cold during winter and I had layers of blankets on me.
