Since I was out of cell service last night and could not publish Day 10 until today I am also going to publish Day 11. Today I did a hike to a Red Mountain which actually leads into the caldera of an extinct volcano. The are volcanic hoodoos which form differently that the sand ones you are used to seeing. That is what I am told. I would explored the caldera more and was starting to go into a slot that went to a higher level in the caldera. But the wind was high, it was cold and snow pellets were coming down. Also I think Spiderman was here. Surprisingly cold on Flagstaff. It am staying at hotel to catch up on online items and plan the next section of the trip.
Supposedly you can go into the left slot to get up to the next level.
