I have passed by the Petrified forest many times but this time I stopped. To wrap my head around these being ancient trees that were around when it was the super continent of Pangea. Then to see the painted desert. More mind overload. Then I stayed on the west side of the painted desert. So quiet and the views. My pics can’t do it justice.
